We will check your guttering system with our pole-camera and advise you if there are any areas of the guttering system that need replacing.
We can then recommend gutter suppliers with whom we work, who can carry out the repairs either before or after the clean.
No, however, if you would like them cleaned then please ask us during your enquiry, and we will add this to our quote.
No. If you have other commitments and cannot be present, then we will carry out our service and send you an invoice. If it is not easy to access your gutters at the back of your house because of locked side gates or living in a terraced house, for example, then we would need you to make some arrangements for us to gain access to the back.
It is recommended cleaning gutters should be done twice a year.
What to look out for:
- When rain falls, and you notice an overflow from the guttering, then the gutter channel is blocked and needs to be cleaned. There could also be gaps between the joins of the gutter, which could cause overflow problems. This would all be examined by our equipment and corrected as part of our service.
- Leaves can sometimes be seen sticking out of the gutter and producing a mound effect. We will correct this as part of our service.
- When looking up at your guttering, it is possible to see misalignment of the guttering. This could be due to the sheer weight of debris, causing the guttering to be pulled away from the mount.
- On the ground level, sometimes a residue of moss can be seen around the house, signifying an overflow from the guttering which causes excessive damp on the ground.
- The wood board or facia look like they are rotting if they are coming off the building.
